Benefits of On-Farm Shelterbelts

Hear from CSIRO expert Daniel Mendham on the economic, biodiversity and productivity benefits shelterbelts can have on your property. Daniel is a Team Leader in Forest and Landscape Functions within the Environment sector at CSIRO. He has been involved in significant studies on the economic benefits of shelterbelts in Tasmania and has a wealth of knowledge on this topic. Herbert Staubmann from Habitat Plants will also share knowledge and insight on how to successfully establish shelterbelts, including considerations around plant selection, ground preparation and ongoing maintenance.
