NRM North often take photos or video at events for use in various publications and promotional materials, including online.

By attending events hosted by NRM North you consent to the Photographer/Videographer taking your and/or your child/ward’s photograph and give permission for images and/or video in which you and/or your child/ward appear to be used in print and electronic media, including the Internet and social media platforms. You understand that this could also result in yours and/or your child/ward’s image being viewed outside Australia.

To the extent necessary to allow NRM North and the Photographer/Videographer to use your and/or your child/ward’s image as agreed, you:

1. assign to NRM North and the Photographer/Videographer any rights you may have in you and/or your child/ward’s image captured in the photograph(s) and/or video, and in any materials created by NRM North using your and/or your child/ward’s image from the photograph(s) and/or video;
2. release NRM North and the Photographer/Videographer from any and all claims which you and/or your child/ward have or may have for defamation, in intellectual property, or for any other cause of action arising out of NRM North or the Photographer/Videographer’s use of your and/or your child/ward’s image from the photograph(s) and/or video.

You agree and acknowledge that:

1. any use by NRM North of your and/or your child/ward’s image from the photograph(s) and/or video does not require any further consent by you; and
2. you will not receive any payment in return for having your and/or your child/ward’s image captured or be entitled to any future payment for use of your and/or your child/ward’s image from the photograph(s) and/or video by NRM North.

You understand that this consent is provided at no cost and that neither NRM North nor the Photographer/Videographer have any financial commitment or obligation to you as a result of the use of your and/or your child/ward’s image.
