What is Natural Capital?
Natural Capital refers to the stock of natural assets such as soil, water and biodiversity on your farm. By enhancing and managing these assets, you can improve productivity and resilience, and potential to access emerging environmental markets!
NRM North’s new On Farm Natural Capital and Market Readiness Project is designed to help farmers better understand, protect and enhance their natural assets. There’s a range of ways landholders can get involved, from hosting a demonstration site and implementing on-ground works, to sharing knowledge and skills with others at workshops and field days.
Our Sustainable Agriculture team are hitting the road throughout March, providing you with a number of opportunities to meet with them and find out what’s in store.
Come and have a chat with us and see what’s in it for you!
