Sustainable Agriculture Project Support Officer

Launceston, Tasmania

  • 1.0 FTE – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
  • Project Officer Level 7 – 9 $76,960 - $81,120 per annum pro rata, exclusive of superannuation paid as per superannuation guarantee levy.

The Sustainable Agriculture Project Support Officer will be a part of a team facilitating land management activities to support productive agriculture, healthy soils and sustainable land management to achieve project outcomes.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in environmental science, natural resource management or a related discipline
  • Understanding of contemporary agricultural extension principles and demonstrated delivery experience
  • Stakeholder engagement experience, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work safely and effectively in a small team, adhere to site safety and environmental guidelines at all times and comply with all WHS requirements including correct use of provided protective equipment
  • Current full drivers licence
